Another year, another NGBG. Malmö’s very own huge FREE festival that runs all throughout Norra Grängesbergsgatan. 41 stages, a bunch of artists on every stage – and we’ve listened to all of them (most of them [those we could find (and weren’t on the disco stages [etc])]). Repeat (25 – Al Amilli) sick garage:y alternativerock, catchy rockin’ riffs and choruses. newer stuff has an almost heavier postpunk sound, lots of attitude, lots of noise, lots of fuzz.

Human Non Human (31 – Plan B Workshop) funky alternativerock with a punkrock attitude, containing a smidge of rap, psych, progrock, hardcore, and surfrock. very cool live, hard n fast

QUIET COMMOTION (13 – FAM X LOPPEN NORR) melancholic malmö indiefolk champion, 17 y.o making acoustic BOPS, genuine stuff wowow – this time on both kinds of guitar and also accompanied by clarinet (?!)
tunga divisionen (16 – abf scenen) kanske lite väl plojigt för sitt egna bästa men lite småkul trevlig pop med visor typ och harmonier och munspel och ibland elektriska gitarrer då också rock, mest typ gulligt lite spretigt heja heja
